Peer Assessment: Channels of Operation

The present paper offers a definition of peer assessment and then reviews the major syntheses on its effectiveness. However, main part this is preoccupied with how to do PA successfully. A typology 44 elements explains differences between many types assessment. Then theoretical model outlines some processes which may occur during PA. Initially, only few these will be used, but as those engaged in become more experienced, an increasing number feature. not appear linear order set out here, indeed recursive. implications for design organisation are outlined, well future research.
